Shark Point is one of our favourite dive sites in Gili Trawangan.

Location

North west of Gili Trawangan, 15 minutes by boat.



Aquatic life
Favourite place for black tip and white tip reef sharks. Turtle paradise in the shallow part. Around full moon good chance to see bumphead parrot fish. Often moray eels, cuttlefish, stingrays and most tropical fish. In the deeper part, around 30 meters, high chance to see schools of barracudas and jacks.

Seafloor morphology
Sloping bottom with a mixture of hard and soft corals in the shallow part, mostly bommies in the deep end. Canyons beyond 25 meters.
