One of the healthiest coral slopes around the Gilis, Halik gives you the chance to see most of the tropical fish present in the Indonesian waters.

 

Location

North of Gili Trawangan. 



Aquatic Life

Snappers, moray eels, lionfish, cuttlefish, octopuses, turtles, sea snakes, several kinds of shrimps, schools of humpback unicornfish, drummers, fusiliers and long-jawed mackerels. Good chance to see black tip reef sharks in the shallow part and bumphead parrot fish around the full moon.

 

Seafloor morphology

Coral plateau around 5 meters, dropping down to about 13, followed by a sandy slope to a maximum of 20 meters.
